In response to this environmental call-to-action, EGI was born, envisioned as an eco-friendly molded fiber packaging alternative to plastic.

As a business, we are firmly committed to environmental stewardship. Given the current climate crisis, it is important to act now to mitigate the harmful impact of plastic, particularly single-use plastics like packaging, on the environment. By creating products made from waste materials such as recycled paper and cardboard, we can reduce our environmental impact and promote a circular economy. Additionally, regardless of how the packaging is disposed of — whether recycled, composted, or sent to landfill — its natural biodegradability ensures minimal harm to the planet, supporting responsible consumption for businesses and consumers alike.

EGI recognizes that although our products are crafted from waste cardboard, trees were originally harvested to create this material. With this awareness, both as a company and as individuals, we are continually striving to enrich the natural environment. One of the ways we balance this is through a rewilding project.
